Duties will include imaging computers, placing computers on the network, and supporting printers. Consultants will use VPN, remote access, desktop to mainframe applications, Microsoft Office, and Lotus Notes. Duties may also include installing, configuring and troubleshooting software/hardware on Dell desktop and laptops running Windows NT in a standardized corporate environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in addition to a strong professional image will be critical. Consultants must have a reliable automobile and be willing to travel to various nearby locations - sometimes on short notice (expenses will be reimbursed). Consultants must be capable of lifting at least 50 pounds. Pay for this opportunity is $15.00.
I know it is just a desktop support position, but why would anyone who could do all the things required in this position work for $15.
To call this position an opportunity seems a bit misleading.
